1) repetition of “for” in s 8(1)(h) AWA was an insignificant typographical error.
2) question of whether “keeps” requires physical and actual possession academic when D had such possession for part of the period charged.
3) “keeps or trains” in s 8(1)(h) included both those with actual physical possession and those who retained control of the animal whilst it elsewhere. Equally a person may themselves train the animal to fight or arrange for another to carry out the training.
